MUAi Review: My Honest Take After Buying Omar Martin’s Last “Lifetime” Affiliate Platform

October 5, 2026 by Nate Bianco

MUAI Review

If you’re looking for an MUAi review because you’re considering joining Omar and Melinda Martin’s new My Unfair Artificial Intelligence platform, I have a slightly different perspective than someone who just discovered it.

I’ve been marketing online since 2002.

And a few years ago, I paid $797 to become a lifetime Platinum member of another affiliate marketing platform created by Omar and Melinda Martin, along with John and Alex Thornhill.

That platform was Master Affiliate Profits, better known as MAP.

Now Omar and Melinda have launched MUAi, which they describe as a next-generation online business ecosystem combining the foundation of MAP with their long-running My Unfair Advantage training and new AI-powered tools.

After watching the MUAi presentation and looking closely at what they’re building, I have some mixed feelings.

There are things here that could absolutely help someone build an online business.

But as an existing MAP lifetime Platinum member, there are also some things about this new launch that don’t sit particularly well with me.

So rather than give you another review that simply repeats the MUAi sales page, I want to explain what MUAi is, what you’re actually getting, my experience with MAP, and why I’m personally choosing a different platform for my online business.

What Is MUAi?

MUAi stands for My Unfair Artificial Intelligence.

It’s a new online business platform created by Omar and Melinda Martin through Higher Level Strategies.

According to their own support documentation, MUAi combines elements of two previous programs:

Master Affiliate Profits, or MAP, which focused primarily on affiliate marketing.

And My Unfair Advantage, Omar and Melinda’s long-running online marketing training program.

MUAi takes those foundations and adds AI-powered tools designed to help members implement different online business strategies.

The platform is being built around several major areas, including:

Affiliate marketing

Product creation and launches

List building and email marketing

Recurring income

High-ticket webinars

Higher-ticket sales and funnels

Audience building and traffic generation

Each area is designed to combine training with AI tools that can help members actually implement what they’re learning.

That’s an important distinction.

I don’t think it would be fair to simply describe MUAi as “MAP with some AI added.”

MUAi is intended to be broader than MAP.

The question for me is whether I need another online business ecosystem to get those things.

And that’s where my experience with MAP becomes relevant.

I Paid $797 for Lifetime MAP Platinum

When MAP went through its early launch, a friend of mine named Nick introduced me to it.

I eventually paid $797 for lifetime Platinum access.

One of the things that appealed to me was the idea that MAP wasn’t supposed to be just another product launch.

It was presented as an affiliate marketing ecosystem.

You could build your list.

You could send prospects into the ecosystem.

Your referrals would remain attached to you.

You could earn commissions when those people purchased additional products inside the ecosystem.

There was training, marketing tools, automation and even traffic being brought into the system.

The overall idea was that this could become the affiliate marketing platform you continued using instead of constantly jumping from one shiny object to another.

I liked that idea.

I’ve been doing this for more than 20 years, and one of the biggest problems I’ve watched in this industry is people constantly starting over.

New program.

New funnel.

New guru.

New revolutionary system.

Six months later, here comes another one.

So the idea of building inside an ecosystem designed to continue evolving was attractive to me.

What Was My Experience With MAP?

I want to be fair here because I haven’t been actively using MAP for the last couple of years.

I initially went through quite a bit of the training.

There was useful information inside MAP, particularly for people learning affiliate marketing and lead generation.

Omar’s teaching style wasn’t particularly appealing to me personally. I found his delivery fairly aggressive and sales-oriented, and that made some of the training difficult for me to sit through.

That’s entirely personal preference.

Someone else may love his style.

There was also a lengthy period after I joined where MAP experienced problems getting its payment system working the way it was supposed to. Eventually I lost interest, moved on to other things and largely forgot about MAP.

So I’m not going to pretend I can tell you exactly what the MAP members area looks like today.

I can’t.

MAP is still operating, and its current website continues offering Free, Silver, Gold and Platinum memberships.

My concerns with MUAi aren’t based on MAP disappearing.

They’re based more on the business model I’m watching unfold.

MUAi and MAP Are Separate Programs

This is important.

Omar and Melinda aren’t claiming MUAi is an MAP upgrade.

Their own support documentation specifically says they’re separate programs.

MAP is operated by Allied International Marketers and was created with Omar and Melinda Martin along with John and Alex Thornhill.

MUAi is an Omar and Melinda Martin product operated through Higher Level Strategies.

The two platforms also have separate affiliate systems.

That’s technically perfectly legitimate.

But it’s also where I started having a problem with the whole thing.

Here’s What Bothers Me as an MAP Affiliate

Remember my friend Nick?

Nick introduced me to MAP.

I bought MAP through Nick.

Nick got credit for bringing me into the ecosystem.

One of MAP’s selling points is that once you refer someone, that person is hard-coded to you inside MAP. MAP currently says affiliates can earn commissions when their referrals purchase products within that ecosystem.

Fair enough.

Now MUAi comes along.

And suddenly I’m receiving emails from Omar and Melinda promoting MUAi.

I never remember separately joining an MUAi email list.

The obvious connection is that I’m an existing customer from their previous ecosystem.

If I purchase MUAi directly through one of those emails, however, my understanding of the current systems is that Nick isn’t automatically credited for that purchase.

MUAi has a separate affiliate program.

Now imagine I had spent the last three years aggressively promoting MAP.

Imagine I’d personally referred hundreds of customers.

Those customers became part of the MAP ecosystem partly because of my advertising, my email list, my content and my marketing.

Then a new platform is created.

Those existing customers can be marketed the new platform, but the affiliates who originally generated those customers aren’t automatically attached to them in the new system.

That bothers me.

I want to be careful about the language I use here.

I’m not saying Omar and Melinda “stole” anybody’s leads.

MUAi is technically a different company and affiliate system.

They have every right to create another product.

But as an affiliate marketer, I care a lot about what happens to customers after I introduce them to an ecosystem.

And this situation is one reason I’ve become increasingly particular about the companies I build with.

Isn’t MUAi Basically the Next Evolution of MAP?

This is where things get even more interesting.

MUAi’s own documentation describes it as combining the foundation of MAP with My Unfair Advantage and then expanding that with AI.

Again, I recognize that MUAi is broader than MAP.

But from my perspective as someone who already paid $797 for lifetime MAP Platinum, I can’t help asking a simple question:

Why couldn’t some of this new technology simply have been added to MAP?

AI has dramatically changed affiliate marketing.

Great.

So evolve the platform.

Add AI tools.

Improve the funnel technology.

Improve the email tools.

Add new training.

Help the people who already invested in your ecosystem become better marketers.

Instead, there’s another ecosystem.

Another launch.

Another Founder offer.

Another affiliate program.

Another “lifetime” membership.

That’s not necessarily wrong.

It’s simply not the business philosophy I personally prefer anymore.

What Does MUAi Cost?

As I’m writing this MUAi review, MUAi is still in its Founder phase.

The current Founder offer is $697 one time for lifetime Platinum access.

But I don’t want to build this entire review around that price because the Founder offer is temporary.

MUAi’s own pages currently show the planned Phase Three membership structure as:

Silver: $27 per month or $297 per year

Gold: $47 per month or $497 per year

Platinum: $67 per month or $697 per year

The Founder offer gives early members Platinum access without the future monthly membership fee.

So if you’re reading this after the Founder period ends, don’t assume the $697 lifetime offer is still available.

Check the current MUAi website for current pricing.

What Does “Lifetime” Actually Mean?

This is another area where I’d encourage you to read the terms rather than only listening to a webinar.

The current Founder offer advertises a one-time payment for lifetime access.

But whenever I see the word “lifetime” in this industry, I want to know exactly what lifetime means.

Does it mean my lifetime?

The company’s lifetime?

Or the lifetime of that particular product?

Those aren’t necessarily the same thing.

That distinction matters even more to me after buying lifetime access to one affiliate marketing ecosystem and then watching some of the same creators launch another next-generation ecosystem a few years later.

I’m not saying that makes the Founder offer bad.

I’m saying you should understand exactly what you’re buying before you attach a large value to the word “lifetime.”

MUAi Is Still Being Built

Another thing prospective members should understand is that you’re not necessarily purchasing a completely finished platform today.

The current MUAi Founder page identifies several of its pillars as “Coming Soon.”

The company says it plans to release approximately one new pillar per month and that Founders will receive those additions without additional charge.

That’s pretty normal for a Founder launch.

You’re getting in early.

The trade-off is that you’re partly buying based on what the creators say they’re going to build rather than only what exists today.

That isn’t necessarily a negative.

Just understand the distinction.

What About MUAi’s Affiliate Commissions?

Founder members are currently being offered 60% commissions when future members upgrade into the Silver, Gold or Platinum levels.

There are also other commission categories within the MUAi ecosystem, including commissions on certain upsells, special products, done-for-you services and second-tier activity.

The exact percentages vary depending on what is being sold.

This is another difference from the MAP Platinum membership I purchased.

MAP advertises a 75% Platinum commission rate on qualifying membership sales.

However, there’s something about that 75% number that bothered me years ago and still does.

MAP’s 75% Commission Isn’t 75% of the Gross Sale

I actually argued with Melinda about this years ago.

MAP says Platinum affiliates receive a 75% commission.

But MAP’s current commission policy says processing and platform fees are deducted before the affiliate commission is calculated.

Their own current example uses a $797 sale.

After fees, the amount used for calculating the commission is lower, resulting in a Platinum commission of approximately $561.95.

Seventy-five percent of the original $797 would be $597.75.

Again, the fee structure is disclosed.

My issue is simply one of perception.

When I hear “75% commission,” I naturally think I receive 75% of the purchase price.

MAP defines it differently because fees come out first.

That’s something you should understand when comparing affiliate programs based on headline commission percentages.

What About the “Free Traffic”?

This is probably one of the biggest lessons I’d want a brand-new affiliate marketer to take away from this review.

MAP promoted free traffic as a major Platinum benefit.

I remember it being pushed hard during the webinar.

And technically, yes, I received some traffic.

A few visitors here and there showed up at my website.

I don’t remember a single one turning into a sale.

Maybe I’ve received additional traffic during the last year or so. I haven’t been active enough inside MAP to check.

But here’s the larger point:

Don’t build an affiliate business around somebody promising to send you free traffic.

I’ve been generating leads online since 2002.

Nobody is going to magically send every member of an affiliate program enough high-quality free traffic to build a substantial business.

The math doesn’t work.

And interestingly, MAP’s written materials are much more restrained than I remember the original webinar presentation feeling.

MAP’s own support information explains that traffic is distributed through a rotator, so the amount and timing vary.

Some MAP sales material has described it much more modestly as a few additional clicks here and there.

That’s much closer to what I personally experienced.

MUAi Is Promoting Free Traffic Too

MUAi is making a similar offer during its current Founder phase.

Its current page says the company rotates some of its own unaffiliated traffic through the system during Phase Two so members may receive a few additional clicks each week.

Notice the important words:

A few.

That’s fine as a bonus.

Take the clicks.

Maybe one eventually turns into a sale.

But don’t assign hundreds or thousands of dollars of value to the idea that an affiliate platform is going to build your traffic for you.

It isn’t.

The skill I’d much rather see you develop is the ability to generate your own targeted leads.

Because then it doesn’t matter what you decide to promote.

MUAi.

MAP.

A network marketing company.

Your own product.

Another affiliate program.

If you know how to put yourself in front of the right people and build an email list you control, you have an asset that follows you anywhere.

Is MUAi a Scam?

No.

Nothing I’ve seen leads me to call MUAi a scam.

Omar and Melinda Martin have been involved in internet marketing for many years, and MUAi contains legitimate training, software and business-building resources.

There are things inside this platform that could absolutely help someone become a better affiliate marketer.

My criticism is about the model and whether I personally think this is the best place to spend your money.

Those are very different questions.

I’ve been around this industry long enough to know that something doesn’t have to be a scam for me to decide there’s a better option.

What I Like About MUAi

Despite everything I’ve said, there are some things I like about the concept.

Combining education with implementation tools makes sense.

AI can eliminate some of the technical barriers that have stopped people from building funnels, writing emails, creating content and marketing online.

The platform addresses multiple ways of generating income rather than teaching only one narrow affiliate strategy.

There is a large library of existing training.

There are digital assets members can use.

And the affiliate system gives members the ability to potentially offset the cost of their membership by referring customers.

For somebody completely new to affiliate marketing who doesn’t already have another platform, there’s certainly value here.

My problem is that I do already have another platform.

And I’ve been using it since 2021.

Why I’m Personally Staying With The Home Business Academy

I’ve been a member of Home Business Academy since 2021.

And one of the things I’ve come to appreciate most isn’t a particular training course or piece of software.

It’s the philosophy behind the company.

Affiliate marketing changes.

Technology changes.

Traffic strategies change.

AI exploded onto the scene.

And during the five years I’ve been an HBA member, I’ve watched the owners continue developing the platform rather than continually asking us to start over with another new business.

Over the last year—and particularly during the last few months—they’ve added an enormous amount of AI technology and new marketing tools.

Those include AI tools for content and copywriting, email creation, images and social media, along with their funnel and website technology.

The Funnel Builder can be used to build websites, capture pages, sales funnels and membership sites for HBA or virtually any other business you’re building.

And one of the things I personally value most is the live help.

HBA Premium currently provides live coaching five days a week with the founders and experienced marketers.

That matters.

You can have 500 training videos sitting in a members area.

Sometimes you just need to say:

“Here’s what I’m doing. Why isn’t it working?”

And have an experienced human being help you figure it out.

That’s difficult to put a price on when you’re new.

HBA Has Continued Adding Tools Instead of Making Me Start Over

This is probably the biggest philosophical difference for me.

When HBA develops something that can make its existing members more successful, I’ve repeatedly watched them add it to the ecosystem.

New AI technology?

Add it.

New marketing tools?

Add them.

New training?

Add it.

Improve the funnel technology?

Do it.

I’m not saying HBA will never create another paid product.

I’m not making promises for somebody else’s company.

I’m simply telling you what I’ve personally experienced since joining in 2021.

I’ve watched the platform evolve.

That’s what I thought I was buying when I purchased lifetime Platinum access to MAP.

And it’s why seeing MUAi launch as another completely separate ecosystem doesn’t particularly excite me.

Another Thing I Appreciate About HBA: The Commission Is Simple

Home Business Academy’s current compensation plan pays 80% commissions on qualified core-product sales.

If I sell a qualifying $100 product, the advertised commission model is based on that 80% rate rather than presenting an 80% headline and then defining the commission against a smaller amount after MAP-style platform fees.

There aren’t ranks, volume requirements or a multilevel compensation structure.

It’s a straightforward affiliate program.

That’s the kind of simplicity I appreciate after 24 years in this industry.

Is The Home Business Academy Perfect?

Of course not.

No company is.

And joining HBA doesn’t mean you’re going to make money.

You still need traffic.

You still need leads.

You still need to learn marketing.

You still have to work.

That’s exactly why I’m skeptical whenever “free traffic” is made into a major selling point.

Tools don’t build businesses.

People using tools to solve real problems for other people build businesses.

So, Is MUAi Worth It?

If you’re brand new to affiliate marketing, MUAi appears to provide a substantial collection of training, software, AI tools and business-building resources.

I can absolutely see somebody joining MUAi, doing the work and getting value from it.

That’s not really my objection.

My perspective is different because I already bought into an earlier “lifetime” affiliate ecosystem involving Omar and Melinda.

Now there’s another ecosystem.

And based on what I’ve seen, I don’t find MUAi compelling enough to make me start over again.

More importantly, I don’t think I need to.

I already have access to the tools, training, funnel technology, AI resources and live coaching I need through The Home Business Academy.

And I prefer the way I’ve watched that platform evolve.

My Biggest Concern Isn’t Actually MUAi

My biggest concern is the pattern that keeps people stuck in affiliate marketing.

They buy something.

They get excited.

They start building.

Something newer comes along.

They buy that.

Then something with AI comes along.

They start over again.

Three years later they own $5,000 worth of “lifetime” products and still don’t know how to consistently generate five targeted leads a day.

That’s backwards.

The platform isn’t the business.

Your ability to attract people, build an audience, develop relationships and generate leads is the business.

Everything else is infrastructure.

Choose good infrastructure.

Then stop shopping and start building.

Build Any Affiliate Marketing Business Online

My MUAi Review: The Bottom Line

I don’t think MUAi is a scam.

I don’t think Omar and Melinda Martin are bad people because they’ve decided to launch another product.

They’re marketers.

They’re allowed to create products and sell them.

And MUAi appears to contain legitimate resources that could help people build online businesses.

But I also don’t have to prefer their business model.

After paying $797 for lifetime MAP Platinum, watching another next-generation ecosystem launch separately gives me pause.

Receiving MUAi marketing as an existing MAP customer while knowing the two programs use separate affiliate systems gives me even more reason to think carefully about where I send my own customers.

And after more than two decades online, I’ve learned that I personally want to build with companies that I believe are trying to make the ecosystem I’ve already joined better—not continually give me another ecosystem to buy.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I’ve stayed with Home Business Academy since 2021.

If you’re considering MUAi because you’re looking for the training, tools, funnels, AI technology and support to build an affiliate marketing business, I’d recommend looking at HBA before making your decision.

Not because MUAi can’t work.

Because you should see what else is available before spending your money.
